1. Scope and data controller
TazeFikirler acts as the data controller for personal data processed through website visits, enquiries and proposal requests concerning web development, creative direction, design, content, SEO, digital products and related services. Where we process data solely on a client’s instructions within a project, the parties’ roles and responsibilities may be defined separately by contract.
2. Personal data we may process
- Identity and contact data: name, email address, phone number and organisation or brand details.
- Enquiry and project data: requested service, budget and timing preferences, messages, briefs, proposal discussions, and files or content you send us.
- Technical and security data: IP address, access time, request records, browser/device information, session data and security logs.
- Legal and commercial records: contract, invoice and payment-related records, disputes and official requests.
Please do not submit unnecessary sensitive personal data or confidential information about another person through general contact fields.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
- To respond to your request, assess requirements and prepare a proposal where processing is necessary to take steps toward or perform a contract.
- To manage projects, delivery, support and client relationships where processing is necessary for contract performance.
- To meet accounting, tax, record-keeping and lawful authority requirements where processing is required by law.
- To operate and secure the website, prevent abuse and protect legal rights where necessary for our legitimate interests without overriding your fundamental rights.
- If optional analytics, marketing or commercial communications are introduced, based on consent where required by applicable law.
Where consent is requested, the privacy notice and consent request are presented separately. Consent may be withdrawn prospectively.
4. How we collect data
Data may be collected directly from you through enquiry and proposal forms, email, telephone and meetings, and automatically through server, session and security records when you use the website.
5. Recipients and international transfers
Where necessary and subject to appropriate contractual and security safeguards, data may be shared with hosting and infrastructure providers, email and communication services, specialists or suppliers assigned to a project, accounting and legal advisers, and legally authorised public bodies. If data is transferred outside Türkiye, an appropriate transfer mechanism and safeguards under Article 9 of Law No. 6698 will be applied.
6. Retention and security
Data is retained only for as long as necessary for the processing purpose, client relationship, contractual obligations, statutory retention periods and potential legal claims. It is then deleted, destroyed or anonymised. We use risk-appropriate measures such as access controls, secure connections, logging, backups and software updates; no method of internet transmission can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure.
7. Your rights and requests
Under Article 11 of Turkish Law No. 6698, you may ask whether your data is processed, request information, learn the purpose and recipients, request correction, request deletion or destruction where the conditions apply and notification of those actions to recipients, object to an adverse result produced solely by automated analysis, and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
Send a request containing enough information to verify your identity and understand your request to [email protected] or the postal address above. Requests are handled as soon as possible and generally within 30 days.
8. External sites and updates
Third-party links are governed by their own privacy practices. We may update this policy when our services or legal requirements change; the current version and revision date will be published here.
